what is music therapy?

As defined by the American Music Therapy Association,

“Music Therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program.”

Music Therapy at Destiny Studio is a resource for youth who are struggling and looking for additional therapeutic options to better overall health and wellness. Music therapy addresses the struggles that youth face in an innovative, creative and non-threatening way, led by a board-certified music therapist.
