what is music therapy?
As defined by the American Music Therapy Association,
“Music Therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program.”
One on one with music therapist.
Consultation and assessment will be conducted to determine if you are qualified for individual music therapy services.
Following assessment, treatment plan, goals and music interventions are determined throughout music therapy treatment.
Up to 8 participants in each group with music therapist.
Music therapist will use music interventions to focus on common mental health challenges adolescents face and how to positively cope, while promoting positive peer interaction.
