Hi! My name is Laney Bush and I am SO excited to start teaching at the Aledo location! It gives me so much joy to share my love of music with kids.  I’ve been a Music Educator for seven years and I’m thrilled to get back to it! 

 

I grew up in Arlington singing in choirs at church and school at a young age. I attended Mississippi College where I performed in multiple musicals, an opera, the vocal jazz group, and our top choral group. I have been so lucky to get to sing with my high school and college choirs in some incredible venues all around the world! 

 

I graduated with a degree in Music Education and am a Texas certified music teacher, Kindergarten-12th grade. I have LOVED teaching elementary music! I taught two years in Arlington ISD, then my husband and I moved to North Houston and I taught five years in Klein ISD. 

 

We moved to Weatherford a year and a half ago and have loved being closer to home. I’ve been married to my wonderful husband, Caleb, for seven years! We have a beautiful and wild three year old, Bailey, and a sweet new baby boy, Rhett! 

 

My favorite part of teaching is seeing kids fall in love with music and I can’t wait to be a part of that at Destiny Studio!
