Hi y’all, my name is Abby! I was born and raised in Nebraska, but I’m currently living in Texas as a college student studying Worship Leadership at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie. 

 

Music has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started with piano lessons as a child, and then began to develop a love and passion for singing. For many years, my main passion was musical theater! When I was nine years old, I got a callback to play Annie on Broadway. Throughout high school, I received many awards from the Nebraska High School Theater Academy, including Outstanding Lead Actress. I was set to compete at the Jimmy Awards in New York until COVID-19 canceled the event. In this new season of life, I am involved in music and ministry at Southwestern and grateful for the many opportunities I have to grow as a vocalist and musician. 

 

It is a honor to coach singers and musicians at Destiny Studio! I want to help students build their confidence. Technique and training are important as a musician, but the most vital thing is being confident in who you are and what you can do.
